Kody Rinehart
2021 World Champion
Saddle Bronc Rider
HOMETOWN: Rienzi, MS AGE: 29
When the dust settled at the Lazy E Arena at IFR52, it was Kody Rinehart that earned the world title and his second gold buckle. “Things fell into place for me to win my first gold buckle. I always write my goals down and one of those goals was to have won $10,000 by June of last year. Another goal that was written down was to win the world again,” said Kody. “It was exciting to win another gold buckle.”
“My favorite rodeo of ’21 had to be Athens, AL. That rodeo played a big part in my success last year.”
“I like broncs that really buck and have a lot of timing. Ken Treadway Rodeo has a couple that I like to draw. Hedrick Rodeo Company also has some with lots of timing, they are just electric to ride.”
“I work out all the time to stay in shape and I like to stay active. I normally don’t have much time off. I’ve had lots of injuries during my career but I’m healthy and ready for ’22. I’m going to go to the bigger rodeos and try to save my body.”
